Electric vehicle charging station now also for Hotel CUBO guests

From December 2019 Hotel CUBO provides also the electric car charging service for electric vehicles , allowing guests and visitors to charge e-car in the most convenient moment of the day.

At CUBO we are focused on providing unique offers and even believe in the notion of granting quality services and electronic car charge station is one among them as electric cars are being increasingly used for holiday and business trips.

Hotel CUBO is located in an amazing location within the city centre. Once arriving to the hotel all the top attractions are in walking distance. Therfore comfotably charging e-car within hotel for a next trip to new destination while exploring the city is a nice bonus.

The hotel guests can refuel their electric cars with ecological electricity at no charge. Use is on a first come first serve basis.

This means extra convenience for our guests and visitors who drive an e-car and a proof of our dedicated service and a first step into more environmentally friendly and sustainable hotel.

There are around 80 charging stations for electric vehicles in Ljubljana and more than 240 around Slovenia. Travellers arriving to Slovenia should not have problems to travel with electric vehicle from one part of the country to another as electric stations can be found in Ljubljana, but also in smaller villages, tourist sites and on highways.

Slovenia is standing at 36th place among the 140 countries in the latest biannual global Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report

Slovenia is up five spots in the latest biannual global Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report, standing at 36th place among the 140 countries surveyed by the World Economic Forum (WEF). Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek commented on the improvement by saying that Slovenia was on the right track in the field of tourism.

In the 2019 survey, Slovenia scored an average of 4.3 out of seven points based on assessments in 14 elements of competitiveness in four key categories – enabling environment, tourism policy and enabling conditions, infrastructure and natural and cultural resources; two years ago, it placed 41st among 136 countries, down two spots from the 2015 survey, scoring an average of 4.18 points.

Slovenia fared the best in environmental sustainability, placing 8th, while standing in 15th place in terms of security. In infrastructure of road and maritime transport, the country is 20th, in natural resources in 26th, in tourism infrastructure in 27th and in importance of tourism in 33rd place.

In the field of tourism policy and the state of conditions for development, Slovenia placed 18th, which the Slovenian Tourism Board (STO) mostly attributes to the growth in importance of tourism.

For over a decade the World Economic Forum engaged leaders in travel and tourism to carry out an in-depth analysis of the travel and tourism (T&T) competitiveness. Published biennially, Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report and Index benchmarks the T&T competitiveness of 140 economies and measures the set of factors and policies that enable the sustainable development of the Travel & Tourism (T&T) sector, which in turn, contributes to the development and competitiveness of a country.

Exhibition Crack in a cosmic egg

EXHIBITION OF THE THEATRE STRUCTURE

Gallery ISIS, Slovenska cesta 17, Ljubljana

You are invited to view the exhibition daily from 10.00 to 13.00 or from 14.30 to 19.30. It will be open until October 26, 2017.

The theatre structure is Filipčič’s original technique for the memorial capsule, with which memories, relationships, beauty and passage are opened and closed for spectators. In it, the scene elements from the performance become the artistic signs of the exhibition. In the gallery space, they create a new outer space, which free play games and narratives, silently opposes the viewer’s own memory strategies.
